Like any yoga student, beginning students show up with a diverse variety of fitness levels, personal interests/reasons for practicing yoga, preferred learning styles, abilities/limitations, and body proportions. This means that there’s no “one size fits all” way to teach new students, and that (while it’s always a good idea to show up prepared) you may have to adjust your lesson plans and expectations in order to serve the students who are actually in the room practicing with you.
