Namaste. i’m 16 years old and i just started with yoga (yup, yesterday ;)) my parents split up a few month ago and it makes me always pretty sad and there are troubles in school and stuff and now i decided to do sth…. i think it takes (a lot of) time to be “into yoga” but i dont want to be impatient (cause its part of yoga too, i think!)… so to calm down from a heavy day i make the “bedtime yoga” and the one time i did it, it was sooooo good! but i have one question: what music did you take for this video? all “yoga-and-meditation-music” i heard is just… you know, not the right thing to me (like too fast or idk)

Taking some cues from the more advanced yogis around me helped, but I do wish that I had familiarized myself a bit with some yoga poses for beginners before I took my first class. If you're new to yoga and have had a similar experience—or are still too hesitant to walk into a studio and roll out your mat—learning a handful of the poses that will pop up throughout class is a great way to feel more confident to give it a shot.
To begin, come to a tabletop position on your hands and knees, with your wrists placed under your shoulders and your knees under your hips. The folds of your wrists should make a straight line that's parallel to the top of your mat. Gaze a few inches in front of you and keep your neck long.
