Some studios will have a teacher calling out the poses, while Mysore style classes (a subset of Ashtanga) require you to perform the series on your own. The essential yoga poses I do wish they gave a timer for each pose though because I have to mute my sound because the walls in my dorm a very thin. I am usually going to be doing this at night and early morning when quiet hours are. I have prime so I didn't have to pay for this title but if I was paying I would possibly look into something a bit cheaper if you are on a tight budget.

This is a moment of conscious self love and a moment of reflection and awareness to move forward. It can been one pose or a sequence. It can be a breath or a full hour of deep breathing. Set a goal though to have your ‘yoga moment’ each day. Forward Folds are nice as they calm the nerves and offer a cooling wash over the body. Also- a seated or standing forward fold can be done almost anywhere and is a great pose for relaxation and introspection.
