This list of books has been wonderful! I love anatomy, and I have really enjoyed David Keil's anatomy book. I'm planning to start David Coulter's anatomy book soon. I'm learning so much, and it's really transforming the way I think about my body when I do yoga (and ride horses - my other great love!).
Events Comments I started with you all a few years ago and have wandered away looking at other yoga programs on line. In the end I come back to you . The kindness and support of all your instructors is evident even through the barrier of a computer monitor. At almost 62 and having lived a sedentary life from 2001 - 2012, I have used a bicycle and your classes to move me away from obesity, type 2 diabetes, and high blood pressure. Thank you for all you do.

Every yogi has a story of how a yoga book completely transformed their yoga practice. Many have more than one. If you have been practicing yoga for a few years or more, perhaps you can relate to this. A shift in perspective, a new way of looking at things or a different way of practicing can alter your experience on your yoga mat and in your life, enough that you feel somewhat different – more inspired, lighter… dare I say enlightened?

Donna provides a way to experience yoga in a more complete way, allowing the asanas to come to life through ‘seven moving principles’: namely breathe, yield, radiate, center, support, align and engage. With an impressive section on the mechanics of movement, beautiful photos (including what not to do) and yoga pose sections divided into standing poses, seated poses, back bends, arm balances, restorative poses and yoga breathing practices, Donna’s Yoga Mind, Body and Spirit will teach you so much about the practice of yoga, whether you are a student or an instructor.
